- I started painting a couple of years ago when some family circumstances came up and I decided to stay at home awhile. (nothing bad-everything is good) I had been part of a retreat planning outfit that included artists and decided to give it a try. I liked it. So now here I am with 4 dogs and paints...my husband works thankfully.
